During the middle of the night I wandered over to the US Mint website and saw much to my surprise they had the Uncirculated Morgan dollar available to buy. I checked available count and it said zero, but what the heck, I placed an order for 2. It confirmed receiving my order, then a bit later confirmed and charged me for 2. A couple of hours later the Unc. Morgans became unavailable again, yet this morning my order is listed as processing. It may be cancelled later, but will see.... Report this Post to the Staff

I told her both the Peace and Morgan had pit in the field. She arranged for UPS return shipping labels sent to my email, printed them, boxed them up, took them to nearest UPS store 8 miles away. I filled out the shipping labels that came with them, checked refund, not exchange. Don't want to take a chance of being disappointed again. I'm glad I did not have to pay to return them but still a hassle. I understand why some prefer to wait and buy graded MS 70s on ebay. Yeah you pay more but at least you know you're getting a good one (majority of the time). Prices for MS70s may drop in a few months after the hype is over. These and my silver 2022 Liberty finning so bad the capsule won't close is souring my desire to buy from the MInt. I still don't know if I'll keep on collecting them in 2024 forward though. The cost is higher than I like especially with the cheap packaging, and the uncirculated finish is mehhh.. If I do keep collecting I'm more inclined to stay with the peace rather than the Morgan's. Now if the mint produces an enhanced uncirculated and or an enhanced reverse proof. take my money!!!! Hope it's just reflection, litter or capsule ding It's a piece of lint. I actually took the Morgan out of the capsule as it had lint inside. I thought I took it all off but the reflective surface shows all the lint on the capsule. I even blew the capsule and used cotton gloves but taking a picture at 24 megapixels with a full frame dslr shows every speck. Blew the lint piece off. Went back to look at the capsule and now there is more lint. The capsules must have static as the more I blow the more lint clings to the capsule. I'm leaving it alone before I make it worse. I have compressed air I might use that but it's late so tomorrow.
