Lower mintages and restrict bulk purchases before initial release. The subscription service is much appreciated as is free shipping when enrolled.

Four nights ago I had reported here that I saw the Morgan uncirculated open for order even though none were available, so I tried ordering 2, then the door slammed shut again. Well, I am happy to report they notified me a few hours ago my order of 2 had shipped. Looking forward to seeing them within the week!

Available numbers are going up since I last looked, just now: 73,762 Morgan, 91,871 Peace. Hmm....I wonder if more are being returned or orders cancelled. Does anyone know if the big dealers who buy directly from the mint, can they do returns?

I received 3 of each of the morgan and 3 peace proofs. Cloudy/hazing in the mirror field finish on three coins (all on obverse), 2 peace and 1 morgan. So I'm returning 3 of the 6 coins. the other 2 morgans and 1 peace looked beautiful. I was considering sending the 2 better of 3 morgans and 2 of the better Peace dollars to PCGS. However I think it might be easier and more cost effective to put the refund $$$ toward purchase of slabbed morgans and peace proofs from APMEX or Pinehurst. The hazy/cloudy areas on proofs is one of the reasons I stopped purchasing the annual proof sets. Strange though, I've been fortunate I've not seen the issue on silver eagle proofs.

My uncirculated Peace and Morgans (3 each) all received grades from PCGS of MS70. 6 for 6! But no Ventris strike. Still very happy.

6 for 6 MS70, great! Maybe the UNC had less issues than the proofs, at least going by CCF posts. My UNC are good too but not grading them.
