Tried several times on Mint site in my account to return one of the sets in the orders. But it won't work, says unable to process....to call customer service. Will try again tomorrow.

I just opened mine. I've never gotten reverse proof anything before as I collect mostly the classic silver dollar series. I loved the proofs from earlier this year but not sure how I feel about the reverse proofs. To me it hides the detail in the devices. Glad I own a set though and I'll continue to buy any Morgan or Peace dollars they produce going forward.

Is anyone getting theirs shipped to them via UPS? I have a UPS tracking number but I've been checking every day and every time it's coming back as an invalid tracking number...

Look at your mint order, should say if it's USPS, UPS, Fedex with tracking number. Mine have always been USPS. You could call mint customer service and ask.

Lol stating the obvious there. It's a UPS tracking number. I copy/paste it into the UPS site's tracking bar, and it's coming back as an invalid tracking number. Worst case I'll wait a few days to see if it comes, if not USM is getting a call from me...

I just talked to a mint rep on the phone. They are sending me a return label which will be UPS. I'm sending one of the two sets back for refund. The rep said due to high volume of return calls it may take up to three days for the label to be sent to my email, so I'll wait. I don't know if that's normal or not. I knew the answer but asked the rep anyway, if I requested replacement what would happen if none are in stock. He said I'd get a refund. Then I said I don't want to get a replacement that has been returned and put back in stock. He said no, returns are not put back in stock, they are sent to be melted. Does anyone know if there is a stated mint policy not to restock returns?
TheInfinityPoint, maybe try to type in the number manually rather than copy paste and/or call the mint like you said.

I received two sets. Unfortunately, one of the Morgans has a scratch along the cheek. I looked at the mint's website and noticed that they're no longer available. I think that it's either keep this one or return for a refund.

Happy to see many have received their sets. Not happy to see many have had problem coins in their sets.

Quote:Not crazy about how these look. Has a polished look to it. Couldn't get a decent picture, will try tomorrow under natural light. In my opinion, the regular 2023 Proof Peace dollar looks much better than the reverse proof. I merged this post into the existing topic for discussion.

It seems like the higher relief mirror finish is pretty prone to scratches, as many have had the same issue as me.
I had found a small scratch with the loupe on the forehead of Liberty with the set I am keeping, which is a bummer. Not noticable without a loupe though. I am going to be trying to get a graded PR-70 pair to go with my others, so I will still keep this set so I can have a OGP one.

This is a nice set. I'm with @jimbucks, I like the standard proof versions better.
I'm beating a dead horse here, but the packaging is just awful. The little black lint pieces from the package statically sticks to the capsules.

I agree, the package is crap, the OGP is easily scratched and the black holder sheds lint like nothing else. This maybe my last year with these.

Maybe we ALL should complain or gather a petition to get the mint to do something different - better.
