Hello,
So recently I was lucky enough to find what appears to be two ancient coins in a lot of coins I purchased. One of the coins I identified as I think a Hemiobol 359 336 BC - Philip II, Kings of Macedon but it was pretty obviously a copy since it had the word inscribed on the coin. Still cool find nonetheless.
The other coin I found appears to be a Tetradrachm 454 BC - 404 BC) I think though I am not sure. It seems to be in good shape and weighs 14 grams and feels heavy in the hand which would match since the coin it is supposed to be is silver and around 17 grams.
However, considering this coin came from the same lot as the Hemiobol copy and that the coin just seems to be in too good of a condition I am thinking it is probably not real. However I have no experience with this subject.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Abraham
