Russia, 25 rubles 2018, commemorating the 2018 World Cup. Officially issued on December 21, 2016 (as listed by Bank of Russia, though for some reason Numista claims "04.07.2017" [sic]), this type was likely the world's first 2018-dated coin. [EDIT: ...in the AD calendar, anyway.]

I was hoping to get one of those to kick off the Fourth Edition, which started on January 6th, 2017. Unfortunately the holiday season delayed the release, so very few examples were available to collectors by January 6th, and I balked at the extreme price tag.
I acquired this example in February 2017 (by then at a far lower price), and almost immediately put it to use as a pocket piece. Turns out this material doesn't wear very much, so after several months I could barely see any signs of wear.

Previously in the Fifth Edition and Sixth Edition, and originally photographed for this April Fools' Day thread. I swear the photos were the right way up when I uploaded them.

Trig posted the colour version, but I prefer the non-colour version on any of these.
