Not sure about this, so I thought I`d ask, because I`m not sure how to tell if it`s a proof. But it is really bright and shiny.

Just because a coin is bright and shiny doesn't mean that it's a possible proof . Rims would be squared off , strike would be strong and coin would have a mirror-like appearance .

On proof coins, they are struck twice making the devices show stronger:
1956-LWC-Proof-Coin?
Note how much stronger the proof strike is compared with a business strike coin?
