My first IHC. It weighs approx. 4.6, diameter is right. Based on my limited understanding... Fine 15?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Congrats on the pick-up of a coin in a whole new series @roma. For grading purposes, it is best to take your pics perpendicular to the face of the coin rather than on an angle though.

Yeah, F-15 sounds about right to me . It looks lighter than the other Indian cents because it is made from copper nickel rather than bronze.

Looks like it is Copper Nickel to me and F-15 seems to be right to me as well

Thank you all for your input. I appreciate and it's a great help as a feel my way around my first IHC. I particularly like finding these in Rome; adds another dimension to the coin... I think many of the coins I find here came from collectors, but I am sure some came stowed in suitcases, billfolds, etc.
