I received my gift a couple days ago, but am just now able to post. Santa left me an assortment of post-war aluminum coins, a couple of aluminum Canadian medallions and a wee bit of Canadian silver.

Most of the aluminum coins appear to be uncirculated, with the French coin being the exception. The Austrian coins are the most interesting to me. The only one I had from this time period is a 2 groschen and I never noticed that the eagle had been changed under Allied occupation to add a hammer and sickle.

I also find it interesting that they chose to put reeded edges on several of them.

According to Numista, the following medallions were minted by the RCM, which is a bit surprising. They are still neat, especially given the Queen's recent passing, and they're also in great shape!

Finally, this little guy (or gal?) will go well with the 1896 I have:

Many thanks to my "secret" Santa. You know who you are!
