I received my gift a couple days ago, but am just now able to post. Santa left me an assortment of post-war aluminum coins, a couple of aluminum Canadian medallions and a wee bit of Canadian silver.

Most of the aluminum coins appear to be uncirculated, with the French coin being the exception. The Austrian coins are the most interesting to me. The only one I had from this time period is a 2 groschen and I never noticed that the eagle had been changed under Allied occupation to add a hammer and sickle.

I also find it interesting that they chose to put reeded edges on several of them.

According to Numista, the following medallions were minted by the RCM, which is a bit surprising. They are still neat, especially given the Queen's recent passing, and they're also in great shape!

Finally, this little guy (or gal?) will go well with the 1896 I have:

Many thanks to my "secret" Santa. You know who you are!

I received my parcel from Santa, but unfortunately they gave me a paper at the post office saying that the weight when sent does not correspond to the weight that it was received at customs. I ask my santa to give me a list of what he sent. I'm afraid that something could get lost on the way.
The package has no traces of opening.

It's difficult to show the seams, but I don't see any damage in person, the same thing is said in the papers at customs "there is no damage".

Slerk! I am your Santa, glad you finally received it! I don't see any damage either

I didn't make a list, but what I can tell you, is that the envelope was weighted before they put all those stamps! Maybe the difference is there?

The documents say about the difference in weight of 205 grams. Customs informs that the declared weight at shipment was 320 grams, and when weighing at customs, the weight became 115 grams. I think the employee made a mistake. I'll open the envelope tomorrow and put up the photos.

There were some wonderful Uruguayan coins in the concert. It still seems to me that the 2 biggest coins are not coins but medals.
I think I still have to clean the copper coin, it's all green and dotted.

marckdaniels, are all the coins you sent shown in the photo?

I come back home after holidays and a family issue that made me stay longer and found my gift from nickelsearcher..

I received 2 Commemorative USA coins sets and a proof set, all coins from 1967.

Just reading some previous posts, sorry for the delay in reporting, it arrived weeks ago but I was abroad. Very nice gift, thanks!
