This one is giving me some difficulties attributing as the are quite a few all about the same. No decernable markers remain that I can find due to the condition.
To bad about the damaged rim about 11k on reverse. I am leaning towards 1936P-1DR-001. Maybe you can help.

The lack of response regarding this find is rather disappointing. I realize that this example is beat up a good bit, yet still may be a "Best of Variety " example.
The condition makes it impossible to validate any markers due to circulation wear and a LDS or VLDS strike. Yet is clearly a DDR.

There is no doubt in
my mind that it is one of these. Regardless of the condition
, I would appreciate any opinions to definitively scratch some off the list and perhaps narrow it down.
To bad it is wrecked. Asking for more experienced eyes than mine.

not sure I'm more experienced, but I don't see doubling from the pictures above. I looked through all the onces u mentioned on VV. I think some of the damage is giving a false illusion off doubling. it happens to me plenty of times lol. But maybe one of the bedrocks/pillars of the community will prove me wrong! #129310;#127995;

You do have a class VI reverse. The first U of Pluribus is relatively undamaged so start eliminating dies that don't match that. Of the ones that look close from there. Try to match markers.

Thanks Stoneman. I know this one is there somewhere yet the condition and time have obliterated most if not all of the markers. I convince myself I notice some but this has alot going on over time.
I will concentrate on that "U" and see where it takes me then come back.
The condition is very disappointing knowing the variety is there and thank you for the confirmation. The strong extra thickness on the outer devices to me, makes it obvious. Those dots are about fully doubled. That narrows it down. Check out that lower "L" and both "U's" in PLURIBUS. Both lower "U's" in UNUM. Those fat outer wheat stalks. The wheat stems,left and right(wider than normal), and the lower part of "E" in AMERCA.
I will put it away for now for another day.
To bad when you find a nice doubled die it is all beat up.
Thanks again.

Those dots are almost like figure 8's.

Pretty well convinced it is 1936P WDDR-001.
