Wow! Congratulations on the Liberty nickels. Truly amazing to find 3 like that!
Don't forget the other 39s w/and without mint marks you have found for the types. They are just fun to ID and make another addition of something to look for.
I turned in 9,653 nickels today. I still have roughly 35,000 nickels to turn in before I get back to hunting for the 1939-D and 1943-D. I'm still at 250,000 nickels searched in this journey.
I turned in some more nickels today. Another 15,190 at the credit union and I turned in the 3,784 gross, sticky, grimy, gooey, icky, corroded nickels that I have acquired in 250,000 nickels to Coinstar.
Total returned in the last two days is 28,627 nickels. Wow!
I still have around 14-15,000 left to turn in.

Fun fact, I have now searched $12,500 face value of nickels. Had I used Coinstar exclusively to return nickels, I would have paid almost $1,500 in fees! Wow!

Something about this statement is melting my brain.
The 1939 with Reverse of 1939 had 12M, compared with the 1939 Reverse of 1940 at 108M. So the Rev '38 is the less common variety.
Is that coin a Reverse of 1938 or 1940? I can't quite tell for sure with that picture.
After taking a break for a few months from nickels I am getting back into the hunt. I am picking up another 10,000 this afternoon or Thursday, depending on when they arrive.
