What is going on with this coin please. I see doubling on the date, and the word 'Liberty' Please let me know if you need more pictures. Thank you in advance for your information.

It's very spiffy. Is there anything along the edges of the bust, or the letters of IGWT or LIBERT-?

Pretty normal to find these in the 40's Mercury dimes, wide varieties of Machine Doubling.

See a lot of these doubled die on ebay to no end.
