I would agree, appears to be a scratch
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

Just a scratch. You have a common-date, circulated silver half dollar with damage. As such, it is basically valued just for its silver content.
