1957 Threepence from Jersey:  Jersey had issued no coin of this denomination before 1957. It evidently wasn't a success, as later issues in 1964 and 1966 were made with the same 12-sided planchets as the contemporary UK brass threepence, which had been circulating in Jersey since 1937.
