The Australian Silver Swan features a different reverse design each year. Here are the first three years.

GLB49, do you know the history behind the Silver Swan coins? Any reason the Perth Mint went with this design?

Good question, NumisEd. Here's what I found.

Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, is nestled along the Swan River. The river has inspired the Australian city for ages and has been home to the renowned Perth Mint since 1829. Homage is paid to the graceful Swan on The Perth Mint's swan-centric logo.

Thank you, IGE. I just received more 2019 and 2020 Silver Swans today. There are only 25,000 Silver Swans minted annually so I will continue to add to my collection.

Thanks, Errers and Varietys. Each coin in the series is one year only.

I live in Perth, about 15m away from the mint.
The Black Swan is our state emblem.

Some may want to exclude theme as being a "commemorative" or having a common obverse (Sacagawea), but I feel they are more thematic in nature and a different reverse is a different coin.

I agree, jbuck, it is a different coin. It's like the Silver Swan that has a different reverse each year.

Thanks, GLB49 and triggersmob, for the explanation. It makes sense now.
Regarding Australian bullion coins, would the changing obverse of the Kookaburra also count as "One Year Only"?
