1968 was the only year that design was struck in 50% silver. The 1968 quarter in 50% is also technically a one-year type. No halves or dollar coins were struck in 50%.

A couple from Costa Rica: 1923 50 centimos c/s on 1886 25 centimos and 1 colon c/s on 1880 50 centimos.   Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Tonga, 2 Seniti 1967. The obverse features Queen Salote Tupou III, who ruled from 1918 until her death in 1965. The reverse features Tu'i Malila, a Radiated Tortoise (Geochelone radiata) given to the Tongan Royal Family by Captain Cook in 1777. The tortoise, originally from Madagascar, passed away in 1966, 6 months after Queen Salote.  Crown Princess Salote at age 8 and Queen Salote in her coronation robe (Wiki).  Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
