Quote: Today you get a maple leaf... There are several finishes. I also have a proof, that I haven't taken pictures of yet, so today you get a reverse proof and a regular. Fantastic! I have one maple leaf... in my 2019 Pride of Two Nations Two Coin Set.

Quote: I have one maple leaf... in my 2019 Pride of Two Nations Two Coin Set. The reverse proof is from the Pride of Two Nations set. Today you get a coin from Niue. You may ask where is Niue? Niue is a self-governing territory of New Zealand in the South Pacific Ocean, 1,500 miles northeast of New Zealand. Niue's land area is about 101 square miles. The population is 1600 and are predominantly Polynesian. Niue is located in a triangle between Tonga, Samoa, and the Cook Islands. Niue is one of the world's largest coral islands. A coral reef surrounds the island, with the only major break in the reef being in the central western coast, close to the capital, Alofi. Niue is a self-governing state in free association with New Zealand, and New Zealand conducts most diplomatic relations on its behalf. As part of the Realm of New Zealand, Niueans are citizens of New Zealand and Charles III is Niue's head of state in his capacity as King of New Zealand.

That 2019 ML is amazing. That is not proof? I gave up on Maples around 2001 when they started making so many different varieties. Seems like AU is similar now with all that they produce.

From Niue we go to China. The China bullion coins feature Pandas and they change every year. This is from 2012.

Quote: That 2019 ML is amazing. That is not proof? @PSUMAN, I assume the maple leaf I posted was reverse proof, as the below was marked as a proof. This was in the pile of Maple Leaf bullion, no added premium, a nice addition to the stash.

I spent yesterday taking pictures of the different bullion, I actually had more varieties than I thought. On my spreadsheet, I have them listed as foreign bullion. I probably should list out the individual countries.

Every collection needs a copy of the first bullion coin, the Kruger Rand. The Kruger Rand was first minted in 1967 and while the US Dollars and the Trade dollars can be considered bullion coins, there worth was tied to the monetary value of the metal (which was in essence government controlled) and hence aren't true bullion coins. The KrugerRands value was not its monetary value, but its value in Gold and Silver. While the first gold KrugerRand was minted in 1967, the first silver one was minted in 2017, way after the US and Maple Leaf were minted.
