American Eagle Proof Coins - Grade Them?

majdave New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 11/13/2023 10:36 pm I recently inherited a pair of American Eagle One Ounce Proof Bullion Coins... 1987 and 1986. They are in the original packaging, with the COA. Since they are sealed and "Proof", is there any advantage to having them graded prior to selling them. livingwater Pillar of the Community United States 2262 Posts	Posted 11/14/2023 09:45 am Welcome to CCF! A lot of collectors like graded bullion and buying certain labels. Some send in their bullion for grading, silver and gold eagles, etc. But for just a few the cost is not worth it in my opinion. The major dealers send in thousands of them to get a bulk discount on grading. You could check ebay sold prices to see the difference between graded and ungraded.
