Hi folks not my normal area of coin collecting but I bought an unseen lot for fun and there were a few US coins in with the lot. If I graded it by UK standards It would prob grade as fine So I am thinking maybe VF-20 on crossover grade? your opinions as ever are most appreciated. T.I.A.

What a nice looking 1816 there

Gradewise, I actually see an XF coming through possibly to a higher relief strike.

Is the coloring in these pics accurate? If so, looks cleaned.

VF25, maybe VF30, old cleaning, still acceptable in my opinion. Nice looker.

VF-30. Quite possibly cleaned sometime in the past... I like it. Not sure of the variety but maybe N-4?

Thanks I thought I was in the ballpark of VF. No idea of its history came in a lot . None of the US coins were mentioned . Was a nice surprise for once

I'm at VF25 with a shot at 30. there is a good chance it had an old cleaning and there is residual staining at UNITED and some haloing around the profile. 50/50 chance it grades straight

Nice looking coin for it's age. I have it at VF as well. I believe that this was the only denomination of coin struck by the U.S. Mint during 1816.
