panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18712 Posts	Posted 12/18/2023 08:50 am there are quite a few small marks across the forehead, cheek, jaw, lapel and shoulder. reverse strike was a little off and obv a tad mushy. some of this is normal due to the number of coins produced and die wear. there are 1 or 2 small field discolorations on the reverse. when you are talking over 66 all of these are a factor. I think the coin was probably pulled from a roll and most of the marks are from rubbing the coin above it. doesn't matter though how they occurred. MS64RD maybe 65 but I can't get it to 66 Report this Post to the Staff

Those grades have visible marks in the field without a loupe, MS 65 as well with dings on the face, IMHO. Report this Post to the Staff
