i'd like to know who would spend $$ to grade this coin

cant determine steps due to shadowing

MS64. they may have graded it 65 just because they felt bad for the person spending $$ on this one.

Me: MS-65
PCGS: I'm gonna guess MS-65 as well. No toning to charm them.

You all were right on the money! Too bad NGC is out to lunch. I seriously want to crack this and save the poor souls after me from this pain but alas, it shall be returned and continue its ill-fated journey.
This one doesn't even deserve fun emojis:(

after reviewing several slabbed 64D's from both NGC and PCGS. several of the 66's had a similar look to this one albeit that this one was on the lower side of those.

I'm going to say finding a well struck mark free 64D is not an easy task however that does not mean a 66 should be assigned just because there are very few at that level. PCGS shows a total pop of only 18 above 66. maybe its because very few folks would even think of submitting one in. in any case there is no way I would pay 66 $$ for this coin

Panzaldi- your points are exactly what I am finding as well for this and the 61-p. Well struck coins are few and far between. Both cost only $20 each but I am still a little disappointed. Also, if I crack them they will lose value down to below $10 but then again, who cares for this coin.
