Hello, I just found a 1943 penny I have no idea what is worth can you please help me out. Thanks I will upload 2 pictures if you need more let me know.   |

It is worth only face value due to severe corrosion of the steel coin and zinc plating.

It's worth one cent.  Happily, its story is worth more than that. Where did you find it? They're quite uncommon these days. Edited by jpsned

Soak it in some lemon juice it may remove the rust.

Looks like one of many that I released into the wild. Agreed, damaged coin worth face value.

1943's are not that special, they were widely hoarded and even mint state examples sell for just a few bucks.
