newbieK New Member United States 32 Posts	Posted 04/29/2024 8:21 pm Check this out, is this a different kind of error? Jefferson's cheeks seem to have more wrinkles than normal. I did a comparison of my nickel next to images of this coin, and this is unique. The wrinkles are raised like extra die. I hope my photos do justice. Let me know what you think. I think that this is mechanical damage, and while you do feel those ridges, they are raised in only comparison to troughs where metal has been removed from the surface.
