ttkoo Pillar of the Community Australia 2567 Posts	Posted 04/29/2024 11:28 pm Hi again, I am trying to pin down this schilling through the design of the wreath ribbon bow, and the style of text on the reverse. The only example with a double bow that I can find is a 1676 and clearly this is not a match! I have found this example https://www.acsearch.info/image.html?id=7876491 which seems to fit most of the characteristics of mine, however the bow is single looped. EDIT: found a few more double bows dated 1763, from several different dies; they seem to have been common in that year. No match so far. Could easily be some other date. Report this Post to the Staff
