I'm not convinced it's authentic. The date position doesn't match exactly with a genuine 1878-CC. Can you get an accurate weight?

Its weight is 26.70 gr.

26.73 is normal weight. .097 +/- is mint tolerance.
Try the tissue test and a magnet.

Tend to agree with above comments about authenticity. Nearest VAM match looks to be VAM 4 - long nock, 4th star broken, close CC. Perhaps a VAM 4 coin was used to create the dies for the fake? Look for other matching pickup points? http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.c...878-CC_VAM-4
