Quote: The first prefixes for KCIII are these (according to a collector* on Numista); £5: CA01 000001 £10: HB01 000001 £20: EH01 000001 £50: AJ01 000001
(*Not sure if this is confirmed by BOE When the Governor and the Chief Cashier of the Bank of England presented the notes with KCIII's portrait to the King himself they said these prefixes are the first. I would say that's an official confirmation. There's a video of the presentation of the new banknotes to the King which I cannot find at the moment.

Quote: I got my first Charles III Bank of England notes in the mail from the Bank of England. I sent some older notes to exchange... Excellent!

I got in (fresh from the UK) a 5 and 10 pound note in pristine condition! Thank you NumisRob for the notes! I'll need to get some images of them and post them up.

Thank you walk2dwater. I had some family leave for a trip to the UK and I exchanged some pounds at RBC but got the QEII notes.
They did get me a full set of KCIII notes from the UK but they were not UNC. Will keep them until I get better ones.

I had a Charles III £5 note in change in Canterbury yesterday. The first Charles III note I've seen in circulation.
