1545 is a year where I've got coins in three of my collecting themes. I'll go with this Brabant copper korte of Charles V:

Beautiful coin! Interesting shape on those 5 digits, too, with the diagonal top stroke.

Thanks. It's a small coin that I think replaced the earlier 2 mite coin (I need to check).
1544 was the last year of Duke Antoine of Lorraine's testons. They were struck intermittently over a 33 year period with the same bust (I guess he didn;t like how his looks changed with age). It features some nice letterforms like the handlebar H, the broken-back D, large Ns formed from two Is with a slender diagonal, and the curious letter at the end of the word BAR

Very nice portrait on that Teston too!

Here is a Schilling from Reval dated (15)44:

Yes, an interesting (and beautiful) example of a "stable" currency. I have one too which looks much the same, dated 1523 (as you reminded me, tdziemia ), so it will show up here eventually.

I think we had a discussion about abbreviations in Latin inscriptions in some thread once, and what looks like a "4" here in "BA4" is short for -rum. So, BA4 = BARUM ("of the Bars"). There is one at the end of LOTHO too, I think, so LOTHO4 = LOTHORUM ("of the Lotharingians").

Thanks! I couldn't remember exactly what was being abbreviated. Likewise many years of those Lithuanian half groats have DVCAT9 for "Ducatus" on the side with the knight.

Nice to see more variety with that Reval coin.
For today I have a groat of the Duchy of Leignitz-Brieg in Silesia, made in the style of spence's Brandenburg groats.

Same type from Silesia (Duchy of Liegnitz-Brieg), 1542. Interesting that this ruler chose to be portrayed in a coat, rather than armor. Maybe that's a good strategy when you're situated between more powerful neighbors?

I also have a Reval schilling from 1542, very similar to @Spence's, from Master Hermann von Brüggeneye (1535-1549).
