Nice slab of bronze you have there @ttk. My coin for today is significantly thinner--a Half Batzen from Pfalz-Zweibrüken:

Another trojak of Stefan Batory for (15)85, this one minted in Poznan (apparently I never made my own photos though I've had it several years): Copyright D. Marciniak

France 1585, liard. The year is hard to read, but is located on the obverse, lower right.

For 1584, I have a schilling struck in Malbork/Marienburg. This place was a stronghold and mint of the Teutonic Order from the mid-1300s to mid-1400s when it came under Polish control. Apparently the mint was shuttered for about a century, and came to life again in 1584 with this coin, then closed for good around 1601. The Prussian identity of the area was still in place in 1584, as the reverse legend translates to something like "schilling of Prussian lands"

This Pfennig was minted in the German Free City of Regensberg in (15)84. Interestingly, the date and denomination are identical! I'm not sure of any of instance of this happening in my collection.
