So many pretty tankas!
I looked up the type and the (76)6 seems solid. Must be one of the worst-preserved identifiable dates out there.
Current gap listing: 1464, 1463, 1462, 1457, 1454, 1446, 1414, 1409, 1408, 1407, 1385, 1384, 1383, 1382, 1381, 1367, 1363. Feels like we're missing a few participants from the original HFBCWG threads.
Just over 92% coverage at the moment. My previous hopeful goal of not crossing 90% before entering the 13th century is currently looking a lot less plausible than I thought but can't be quite ruled out yet (especially if some of those gaps end up filled later). I think if we do cross 90% (that is, over 10% gaps since 1600 inclusive) I'll start summarizing the gap listings (they're already sufficiently bunched up that I've been seriously considering that).

Quote: So many pretty tankas! Amazing yes! I'll finally be able to contribute again in a few days, but only twice more total in the 14th Century.

Golden Horde, Kildi Beg dirham, AH 762 (1361 CE) The date is the third line on the reverse, unfortunately no longer present on this (presumably) severely clipped example (11mm/0.8g vs 17mm/1.5g). As a single year type, there should be no problem calling it a dated coin. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces322454.html

Yeah, an awkward position at the moment... Current gap listing: 1464, 1463, 1462, 1457, 1454, 1446, 1414, 1409, 1408, 1407, 1385, 1384, 1383, 1382, 1381, 1367, 1363, (1361?,) 1360, 1357, 1356. I miscounted the days last time and actually 1361 should already have counted as a gap back then. It took me a while to figure out how to count bd251's coin; the Zeno category has a bunch of 763 AH examples, but they all seem to have the strokes set up differently. AFAICT it's a double die match to Zeno 117210 - which doesn't have a legible date either, but it's a date-side die match to Zeno 271168, which does. A complicated coin!

Yikes I lost track of the days too! Here is a Dirham from the Golden Horde dated AH 758 (1357 AD). It was minted at Saray al-Jadida under the authority of Birdi Beg. I have attributed it as ALbum A-2031.2 and Sagdeeva #277. It will be another month before I can post my final dated coin from this century.

Excellent coins! I remember the discussion of the Mamluk fals; your coin shows more legend than the one in the catalog and IIRC this and other examples have confirmed the date.
Updated gap listing: 1464, 1463, 1462, 1457, 1454, 1446, 1414, 1409, 1408, 1407, 1385, 1384, 1383, 1382, 1381, 1367, 1363, (1361?,) 1360, 1356, and we have every date past that so far. Only four days left (if there's no extreme surprise) before we overtake the How Far Back thread.
