Well, did I ever screw up! I should have sent this coin to NGC or PCGS! I found this on LCR:

Even if this coin is not one of "the" 1922-D Plain cents, I still think that it is a winner. I would have no problem putting this one in a Dansco's "1922-D Plain" hole.

Oh, it's definately a plain, no trace of a D under any mag or any angle....I'm going to resubmit to NGC so I get the "right" holder.

this one was hard, with your added descriptions I moved from a g to a vg. I do like your lincoln collection as seen thus far.
