Here I found a possible mint error for a 1962 Denver Lincoln sent was hoping you guys could give me a second opinion the coin weighs 2.6 g and is slightly smaller than other Lincoln cents.

This was purposely done. Possibly to imitate a dime to be used in a pay phone many years ago.

Rather brutal post-strike damage. The coin didn't leave the striking chamber in that condition.

@Zac09 Sorry, no mint errors, just a mutilated cent. Its weight is down due to missing/ground off parts.

is it about the size of a dime now?
Back then the pennies were reduced to a dime size so they can be used in a vending machine.
