Can somebody identify this token (charm, coin?), please?
I managed identify that rev. is the same as Tong Zhi zhong bao from 1862-66, but obv. is a mystery for me :(

Cast bronze (brass?)
Diameter 46,4 mm
Weight 25,77 g

Pieces like this interest me but I know so little about them.
Not enough to recognize authentic from a forgery.
So I try to find matches in books.
Doesn't the size suggest a tourist basket piece found in street markets?
Maybe a paperweight?
