So far 18 2024 P and 6 2024 D. I'm about 10 miles west of the Philly mint FWIW.
Notably ALL of the 2024 D I have found have come exclusively from customer-wrapped rolls; the 2024 P both machine- and customer-wrapped rolls.
And thus far not a single 2025 from either mint!

Today I did my weekly $20 CRH. All customer wrapped rolls. I found one 2024-P and three BU 2025-D. Quite pleased to have some new 2025 nickels! =)

Quote: What kind of value do the 24s have ? Interestingly, the 2024-Ps are selling for much less than their Denver counterparts: A roll of circulated 2024-Ds will set you back $80 or more, uncirculated $120 or more on ebay. A roll of uncirculated 2024-Ps can be found for as little as $10 on ebay... Quote:
And thus far not a single 2025 from either mint! Likewise... to date, I've found a total of 13 2025-dated coins, all Denver minted (9 cents, 4 quarters).

Haven't found anymore 2024s since my last update... however, I did finally find my first 2025 nickel - a Denver coin - this past week. With 326.2K million minted to date (almost an equal split between the two mints), they will not be highly-sought after like their 2024 counterparts. *Edit: I did find my 3rd 2024-P nickel just now amongst a group I bought this past Thursday... so I'm up to 11 total 2024 nickels between the two mints.

Finding a good number of 2024 P and even a few 2024 D in MWR lately. In fact, in my last 20 rolls I found 5x 2024 P and 2x 2024 D (plus a scratched up 59 proof, a 42 P silver and a 43 P). No 2025s in my searches yet.

No 2025s in my searches yet. That's awesome, pound_foolish! I just found my 9th 2024-D in a group of coins I bought in Santee (near San Diego) last Friday. The coin is actually quite circulated, a low end AU at this stage - easily the most circulated example I've found to date. The 2025s are most definitely out there (found 10 in a batch of coins I bought in the city of Ventura recently)... it is just a matter of them showing up in your local area.

I haven't searched nickels in a few months, but I bought a box yesterday. All shiny new 2023s; it was not what I wanted. So, I swapped them at a friendly bank for a mix of CWR and MWR that weren't brand new.
In the CWR, I found 14 excellent 2024-Ps. I haven't searched in MWR yet; we'll see if they yield anything. But it seems that the 2024-Ps are getting around in my area. I have seen no 2024 Denver coins yet in Cincinnati, and we're far west enough to usually get a good mix of both major mints.
Has anyone learned why the 2024 nickel mintages were so low? The 2025 numbers are already much higher.
