Helder, I Like how you think, ..... The Coins own luster and Eye appeal Will Help you Decide....  You said, " but an original coin is my first choice. " We can only judge so well from Pictures, Your Correct, Always an Original Coin, Or So We think, Till in Your Hand... Ed, I saw the one at Northeast and I'm not finding it appealing. I do like this 1895. https://www.northeastcoin.com/t/388873o.jpgBut the 1893 and 1895 are going to take a while to get. I have time to search for one I like.

Happy Valentines Day!    I got a really cryptic message from my coin dealer asking which coins I was missing as he had a buyer and wanted to make sure he didn't sell the ones I needed. The last time I was there one of the salespeople put them on hold and must not have told the owner. I told the owner and didn't give it too much thought. Today I get a card from my wife.  Inside was a 1934 Peace dollar  I was shown up this year! I have to make it up next year. I'll pick up the 1903 and put the 1894 on hold so only 2 more to go after those 2.

I was surprised, but I should have put the message from the dealer as a sign, but he will call/message me when he gets stuff I collect. She did good. But I married her, so I did better!
