That font is normal on all of them. It's a G.

Looks like 'honest to God' to me.  It is only the British that 'in cod we trust', when they are eating their fish 'n chips.   |

Cod is everywhere, but on those coins it is just God.

I guess it's just too unlike this older coin. Never really noticed since I don't collect U.S. coinage. A buddy asked me about it so I said I'd post it here.  |

Unfortunately it's a big ebay thing, people are pushing it as an error and trying to make a dishonest dollar. |

Atlantic Cod is far better than Pacific Cod.
But I digress here - the 'G' looks normal to me.

That's just the Font they used on this series of coins. Pacific Cod vs. Atlantic Cod... I have caught both and I preferred the Pacific Cod. ..pictured below is a Pacific Ling Cod I caught off the coast of Oregon, and it was Delicious!  |

Score one for the Pacific Cod. Nice catch Tacc. I live near Seattle which is known for a great fishing area.

Right ON Odd, I lived in Vancouver, WA for 3-4 years. I used to go fishing out of Astoria up to the Bar
and back. Caught some real nice King Salmon amongst others.
Caught that Ling Cod off of Pacific City on a Dory.
