Good luck to you as well!
I think Gold Eagles are simultaneously the easiest and hardest coins for type collectors to collect.
I was originally planning to get a 1986 bullion and a 2021 Type 2 bullion, but I think I'll just stick with the unique finishes.
The 2020 V75 is on my radar, but I'm going to have to set aside some of my ethical guardrails before deciding to buy it.

I've logged in 2 hours before the release of some coins and went to the VWR, which changed to the Virtual Showroom at noon.

I never got into a virtual waiting room or the virtual showroom.
I was able to add it to my cart at noon, but couldn't complete the purchase, and now it's unavailable.
I honestly believe Mint's website is one of, if not the most, frustrating sites on the internet.
Now cue the replies where people say they logged in at noon and was able to get one

I had 2 different browsers on 4 different computers open and on a phone 30 minutes before expecting the waiting room fiasco like the Congratulations set and nothing. Added to bag, checked out, and done in a minute.

I logged into the Mint site right after my last post here (about 2 hours ago) never refreshed just kept "clicking" from 2026 product page to upcoming items for sale, then right before release time (8:58 PST) I sat on the 2026 product release schedule page then right as my computer clock hit 9:00am PST I clicked on the AGE and went straight to site (no waiting room) .

I logged in about ten minutes before release, got one, no waiting at all. It became unavailable in about 5 minutes or so. I wonder if they already minted the whole 7,500 or made a few thousand and will make more later. They probaby didn't make them all, will make more later. If you didn't get one sign up for their text notices when more are available.

I had no intention of buying this, but I got an email notification to verify my account information for the silver proof set subscription. For giggles, I went to the website, logged in, and made sure everything was copacetic. I expected issues, but I had no issues.

Situations like this are why 2026 will be the last year for most of my collection.
The premiums are ridiculous, and I'm not paying $8k for this coin on the secondary market.
As a type collector, having this hole in my collection is something my OCD won't tolerate.
If I can't get this coin before gold spikes again, I'll just sell my 2006 set for a profit and move on.

Having multiple tabs open has not affected it in the past
I was logged in and I literally put the coin in my cart a second or two after the REMIND ME button turned to ADD TO CART at noon
By the time I got through the couple pages in the purchase process it wasn't available.
No one will be able to offer any explanation for what happened
