Do you know why my 2017 D quarter is yellow? Is this normal?
Face side is less yellow.

It's been stained, maybe by being in a cup holder. PMD. Not an error.

It could have been plated after it left the mint, but either way I agree with @e&v that it is damage of some sort rather than a mint error.

I've found that State Quarters and ATB tend to get yellow toned over time.
