Here is what the album looks like now. Pg1 Pg2 Pg3 Pg4 Pg5 Pg6 Pg7 Pg8 I have decided to end the collection at 2021 with both the Philly and Denver mint coins included. I don't really feel like going beyond this. I think, for the time being, will mostly consider this set concluded, with the exception of possibly upgrading some of the Memorial cents to BU. This way, I can put this to rest and concentrate on Liberty and Shield nickels. I would like to, however, possibly purchase a few of the keys at some point.

Some tough hole-fillers done! Harder than you thought it would be from the start?

Thanks, my friends Quote:Some tough hole-fillers done! Harder than you thought it would be from the start? Yes, a bit. I didn't realize how many "expensive" coins there are in the beginning, even without the major key dates. 30-50 dollars is a lot personally for me in terms of budget for coins. This is the main reason why I don't have the 1909-S, 14-D, 31-S and the 70-S small date. That said, I would like to get all of those at some point (IDK about the 14-D though) and it is doable for coins that are around 100 dollars and under. This might be a tax return "special purchase" type scenario. Lol. I am more so, however, on the lookout for the keys for my V nickels. So, that's why this might take awhile.

Thanks, friends. I'm almost a little bit sad to be honest. This took like, 75% of my coin interests in the past year. But, luckily now, I can focus on filling up my Shield, Liberty and Buffalo nickel albums

Well, it has been a little while. I was thinking about the other day how I miss actively working on my Lincoln cents. Even though, as many of you know, I have a special affinity for nickels, Lincoln cents are such a fun series. I recently decided to revisit and look into some of the key dates. I would like to say that my long term goal, ideally, I would like to have the 1909-S, 1914-D, 1931-S and the 1970-S small date slabbed/graded. I took a first step in that direction last night and purchased this really nice 1931-S. I was quite surprised that I was able to find this in EF/XF condition, especially for the price I paid for it. It came in at a little bit under 120 dollars. Next up on my list eventually is the 1909-S and the 1970-S small date

I paid $130 for mine (slightly higher grade) 17 years ago. You did good! Quote: Next up on my list eventually is the 1909-S and the 1970-S small date Good luck!

I mean, I get it and all... But when I saw this one, I knew I had to snag it! Quote:a very nice looking 31-S Thanks, Dearborn Quote:Awesome addition!
