Thanks, EV Got this coin today. Definitely a beauty! Reverse I also can't believe all this cost me was 118 bucks. I really feel like for an XF/EF grade, it would be more.

Outstanding 31-S cent! I'm wondering if you managed to get the 1974 P/D/S large and small date cent coins as well?

Thank you, Dearborn and BadThad! And nope, I haven't even looked into anything like that personally. The main coin in terms of small dates I am looking into getting currently is the 1970-S small date. My plan is to buy it slabbed since there are so many fakes out there. Old Pueblo Coins usually has some, but they don't at the moment. On ebay, they have primarily the proof versions of the 70-S small date. I'd personally rather have the business strike, as it isn't as expensive.

Do like that '31 S! I went through a period of acquiring '26 S cents many years ago. Own a few 31 S pieces. I have a thing for 1920s -1930s coins minted in San Francisco.

Thank you, ijn1944 Interesting! I wouldn't mind seeing that. I am also considering keeping all future Lincoln Cent slabbed coins in their containers. Given the fact that I have the US Mint treasury tokens as placeholders, I think it's a good look. So I'd rather keep key dates and coins 50 dollars and over in them slabs!

I'm excited that I now will own the 1909-S as well. I purchased one last night on a whim that I thought was pretty nice. This one, ironically, is from the same seller that I purchased the 31-S. A lot of the 09-S that I've come across have what I would call an ugly or unpleasant look to them. This one is pretty clean IMO. This one, however, must be a bit tougher of a date as this cost more than the 31-S did by around 20 dollars, but also at a slightly lower grade. I'm excited to be able to have these keys
