Thanks, EV I should be getting the 1976-S, 75-S and also the 74-S soon. I said I wasn't going to do the pre-75 proofs, but my 74-S could use an upgrade. So, I figured since I found the proof version for 3 dollars, why not? In general, though, I'm not gonna do both the 1959-1974 proofs and business strikes, at least not at this time. For now, I'm gonna go with either one or the other. There are 21 empty spots at the end of the album. For now, I'm gonna leave the majority of it blank. Or, I might possibly look into some of the satin finish cents from 2005-2009. There's no rush and I have plenty of time to decide on what to fill the holes with. Or, a novel idea for me, I could just leave them blank.

So I currently have 3 Dansco Lincoln Cent albums. Planning to sell one to a buddy at work who is also a coin collector. I have two 7100 albums, and one 8100. Whenever I "upgrade" a coin in the future, I can add it to my 7100 album, which was used previously to house all my Lincoln cents. I also have several proof only issues coming today. I did order some more over the weekend as well. I do have a 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 coming. All from the same seller who so far seems to have pretty good prices. The ones I purchased were all between 2.00-5.00. This is a certainly a far cry than the expensive Liberty nickels that I've been purchasing lately. Main thing I wanna see is what the quality of the coins are, and if there is any unpleasant toning.

Thanks, guys I should be getting some more proofs later in the week. I wish ebay's tracking was better, though.

Hello Humanist1287, I've been joying reading all the posts here and looking at your Lincolns. I just pulled out another box of coins from storage and found some fairly nice Lincoln cents that I am offering to you free of charge. You can pick the ones you need/want or take the whole lot The last two coins on the lower right are ro left to right; 1993D and 1998 I bought thee some years back and haven't even looked at them so I can't validate the writings on the 2 X 2's. If there are any coins that you don't want, they will be up for grabs to the 1st person/s to contact me. Same free postage for them too. All have a GREAT day!!!

Hey there! Thank you my friend!
If you are offering, I would gladly take them all! Can't pass that up. I am planning to upgrade many of my coins to "BU" eventually anyways. Might as well get a head start on it!

Good morning. Yes, I am certainly glad to take them off your hands. I sent you an email. They should add nicely to my collection. My goal is to have as many Memorial cents, as well as wheat cents that I can, in BU. That said, I think the majority of wheat cents in "BU" will probably be 1947 and after, since they are more affordable.
