I agree I got a bunch of proofs today finally I added the 1975-S that I got recently Also added these So this is one of the reasons why I sometimes hate buying proofs from ebay... I would assume this is some kind of toning? It seems to be a lot more prevalent in proof coins, though. It's like a spot of toning. I'm not necessarily against toning or anything... But I'd rather have uniform coin and if I saw this at my LCS, I would definitely pass on it

Thanks, EV I added a few more proofs, the 74-S and 76-S. I must say, I am enjoying have a more full collecting experience adding the proof only issues. Funny how I came to this realization after I completed the business strikes. I did this exact same thing basically with the Jeffersons.

jomic, I received your coins yesterday. Thank you so much! Put them to good use between my two albums; This is the 8100. I keep the 7100 around for an overflow album Definitely nice to upgrade some coins!

Isn't it a great feeling when you find a penny to fill a hole in your album. Makes me remember myself as a 6-year-old kid with my little blue Whitman folder and going through the pocket change of everybody that came to visit! I'm 76 now.

Yes, it is. Nothing new on the 8100 front. I did, however, recently opt to to add some of my Shield cents into a blank album. I had considered at some point purchasing a Shield cent album, but they don't really interest me a ton. However, given that I had some blank pages and a blank album available, I figured why not give it a go. I also added some of the 2009 cents just for fun. Like my Jefferson nickel collection from 2006-current, which is housed in a blank Dansco nickel album, I think this would be better served this way, as I can put whatever I want in whatever order. I decided to take up a bit more ports and added some reverses where the proof coins would be. I NEED to get a proper label maker!
