Safi Valued Member United Kingdom 69 Posts	Posted 05/01/2025 06:35 am Hi everyone, its been a while I would like your opinion on (if you would be so kind) 2 pennies I have one from 1896 and another from 1950 and both weigh 10 grams, both are normal diameter 30mm and thickness 2mm , are these anomalies or is there more, they are normally 9.5grams I believe, but what would cause the extra weight, curious , I would appreciate any insight on these, many thanks in advance. Range of weights for these is about 9.1 to 9.7g, so 10g is not too far out. 1950, of course, is a much scarcer date, so a copy is not out of the question. Report this Post to the Staff
