Quote: ALSO THEY BRINGING BACK THE CLAMSHELL! Those returned last year and they added the clamshell to the Uncirculated finish, which they had never done for the individual releases

Quote:all this hype over a laser ASE only showing a 'laser icon' privy mark? sheesh! The thing is, it seems like it's being portrayed as a real change in how ASEs are going to be produced. So I'm hoping this will be the start of better anti counterfeit features. I'm betting that the privy that they picked, although I'd agree, it's a head scratcher, will end up having micro engraving involved. And this will eventually end up being included, even in bullion ASEs. I'm still a little confused on if the laser engraving is done on the coin or dies.

I only bought the Flowing Hair Medal last year and the year before was the Proof/Rev Proof Morgan/Peace sets. Guess I am at least buying one but only 1.

The countdown for the next round of "Proof Privy Portal Problems" has begun - Set to go on sale Wednesday 8/20 @ 12 Noon EST. Why can't the Mint just put them on their ASE Subscriptions, so the dedicated Collector can be assured of receiving one?

Why can't the mint create a rewards system where the more one purchases in a series, the sooner one can order the next release? It's the same reason they can't ship multiple items ordered at the same time and shipped from the same location in one box. They're horrible at distribution.

I am going to log in and get one. I am not expecting a quick sell out. I expect it needs the household limit to be raised. It is the same mintage as the Army privy. The Army privy was busy to get one the first day it went on sale but took a while to get to a sell out. I don't imagine this being better/more sought after than that.
