Just bought this recently and was looking for some opinions on the grade. It's variety PC59-46 with a repunched 9.

Wearwise, I'd say VF-30, details. It has some contamination showing both sides and there are scratches and dents in the Rev. There also is something not right, like a heavy contact near the date, PMD

VF with some contamination and dings. The weakness at the 9 is the result of die collapse, and is normal for the late state of the E23a reverse. Unfortunately it keeps you from seeing the re-punching at the bottom of the 9 that you would see strongly in the earlier states. Nice one to add to your collection.

Somewhere between VF20-30.
Lacking detail to be any higher.
