I believe this might be a circulated specimen of the 1936 5¢ doubled die reverse: DDR-001, "Best of" WDDR-001, FS-801. Seems like the layer cake tripling and quadrupling is worn off, leaving only the distorted shapes in USoA (including dots) and FIVE CENTS. Variety Vista 1936 5¢ DDR-001
Jaden, thanks. This nickel was in a five coin lot. I was actually looking at 1935 nickels, but I immediately noticed the adjacent coin with slanted distortion on Five Cents.
