Quote:I plan to only go until 2008, when the actual " Sacagawea dollar" series technically ended, despite being sort of revamped in 2009 with the Native American dollars. Quote: I think I can leave those out. Plus, I won't have any more room in this album. Lol. Then you will be ready to build a 2009- album.

If by chance you do venture into the Native American dollars, you'll probably want to get an album first since they put the date and mint mark on the rim of the coins with those.

Quote: Coinforme, I'm all ears. Humanist1287, the SBA I'm collecting are in rated slab holders. I'm thinking of photographing the SBA slabs and Photoshopping the images over the pages you posted...

You guys really have me thinking..
It is one series I have been ignoring...I do have lot of them in 2x2's etc. & plenty of unbroken mintsets from a lot I bought years ago.
I think when the mint replaced the Ike with these I had a dislike for them so I did not collect them.
So yes!
A new project that shouldn't be as pricey as my other want lists.
I do have the sacagewea and native Americans complete w/proofs so I have consider how to house them.

Lol. Do you have the new coin album itch? I kind of wish the Sacagawea blank page had less ports, so that way when I had all the coins I plan on purchasing down the line, there's very little empty holes. Quote:Sounds good. I definitely won't be doing that now! Lol. I'm personally not a fan of coin designs that change yearly.

Quote: Interesting. Why, though? Lol. Do you have the new coin album itch? I think it would be an excellent way for me to quickly see what I have at a glance. Right now, I keep a lot of pictures organized in separate folders by coin denomination for record-keeping. It would be more enjoyable to open a folder and see all the coins in a set displayed together, like a visual gallery. Album itch? - I hate albums, did away with them as a kid. I now keep coins in a Slab and 2X2 box holders...

Quote: But to each their own. jbuck Your correct, my reason: Years ago, before I knew any better, I had a nice collection of Eisenhower dollars stored in those older albums with the long sliding plastic inserts. Unfortunately, under further inspection years later, many of my coins—especially the proofs—ended up with my thumbprints from pressing them into place, and some even got micro-scratched from sliding the clear plastic protectors back and forth.

I also noticed a similar problem. I was going over / updating my Washington quarter collection to make it all AU/BU or better A Lot of modern proofs with my own grubby finger prints on them... Unfortunately they were etched, and had to be replaced. Now I use cotton gloves. Slides are ok as long as they are clean and the coin is correctly in.
