Picked this out from a bulk bin today and wanted to share. I'm a complete sucker for toned halves... I'm honestly very new to collecting, is this even a desirable tone typically? Doesn't change how much I like it personally, but I'd like to know I suppose. As for a grade, somewhere in the XF/AU range? Thoughts in general?   Any comments appreciated, thanks! |

I do like that toning! Cool bulk bin find--I'd take it any day. Likely falls in the low AU range.

CoinForMe, thank you! Desirable or not, I like the tone on this one anyway. For no additional premium at least  I'm glad you mentioned the cleaning too, once I looked under better lighting I'd suspected as much... Pretty noticeable in front of his face... Ah well! Very happy to have found this site, I had tried Reddit for a while but honestly can't stand it, for many reasons. This style of forum is more my speed! |

I also have a similar tone to yours. I also love tone coins. Old picture of my 1964 D Kennedy, need to upgrade this picture..   |

Even with that picture, I can see the difference between AU/Cleaned and MS64, however!
