I received an email from the US Mint this morning asking me to confirm my information because my subscription will ship soon. The 2025-S American Silver Eagle Proof will be released on September 23, 2025, at 12 noon ET.

I've heard that, Mike. I don't know if a final decision to close the mint has been made yet.

Anything POTUS can do to give CA --and Newsom -- a figurative middle finger, is a certainty. Methinks the SF mint's days are numbered.

The U S Mints site stated in the S ASE Description, " Minted at the United States Mint at San Francisco There are currently no further releases scheduled for this product beyond 2025 as we create new numismatic products to enhance your collection. "

I have read that San Francisco property value and the government cutting costs are contributing factors in the decision to possibly close the mint. Since the SF Mint produces silver and clad proofs, sets and commemoratives then these would have to be produced at the other mints if SF closes.

I'm going to start a new topic about the possible closure of the San Francisco Mint. This current topic will remain to discuss the upcoming release of the 2025-S ASE.

Apologies, Morgans Dad. . .
I'm thinking of changing the quantity on my subscription from 1 to 2. . .last year of production might make it flippable. Thoughts ?

Capt, I believe the Fact the S F Mint is considered to be closed, sold W/E, would beg the question, as stated, Maybe up subscriptions, being the " last year " available, My opinion, I've already made Some moves to be assured Certain coins are in those sets......, Maybe Another Shot at a possible rarity, This therory, it would be Better to Have some, maybe More, Then None.......
