I cant seem to find a exact match on any of the variety sites. It looks like a double ear but I could use your input. There is a nice Cud on it but I'm more interested on the ear

I agree on both points, not a doubled ear lobe - just a circulation hit, and a very nice Cud at the bottom.

Just a a well placed hit on the ear. Not a DDO. Nice Cud though! Still a keeper since it has a Cud.

And with all that, the obverse is showing a rather distinct ridge ring--sure sign of a Die Deterioration issue. Nice coin.

As the others have stated, just damage to the coin, a hit. Very nice Cud though and you will find that Cuds tend to be worth more than "most" doubled dies, especially if they have size to them.

Thanks for your input everyone. I figured it was a long shot because there is like 30 discovered 1988 double ear lobe if I recall right.
