At least one example of every mintmark and date of the franklin series was found in the third box except for the 55p but I found one of those in one of the other boxes, so I did manage to finish the set from circulation and upgrade several pieces as well. There are a great many lower grade pieces of vg or f quality and about a half dozen culls. I will post totals for franklins later but for now here are the totals for the 31 walkers from all three boxes they are as follows,
1917-3
1917s-1 (reverse)
1918s-4
1918d-2
1920d-1
1920s-1
1935-1
1936d-1
1938-1
1941-3 (one is holed)
1942-1
1942d-1
1943-2
1943s-1
1944-1
1944s-1
1945-1
1946-1
culls-3 (one dateless, 2 ?9)

I'd love to see pics of those Walkers! That is so cool. Here's I've been trying to assemble a set of Franklins by getting one or two every now and then, and you just go out and get the entire thing in a box handed to you at face value! Amazing.

Xavier,

Wow...wow...wow! Congrats on an amazing haul! I think that if I received such a haul, I would go back to the Bank and pickup or order as many boxes as I could afford. Someone or more than one person cashed in a load of Halfs recently and the sooner you act (pickup more boxes), the chances are better that you may get some more of the coins that were cashed in. At the worst, you could get all Clad Halfs and would have to cash in most if not all of them in quickly.

Frank
