Very nice German notes altogether! @CollegeBarbers Did you know that your note was reissued in the same year with a face value of 1 million? It is also known as the 'Kölner Provisorium', meaning 'Cologne Provisional', because things were handled quite provisionally at the time and the printing plate for the 20,000-mark note was simply reused. If you look closely, you can still make out the '20 000' on the left side beneath the '1 000 000' overprint (red arrow): Germany - P# 93 - 1 Millionen Mark 1923 (PMG 66 EPQ) However, this is not meant to be my note for 1923. Instead, that would be this note, which is no longer all that common, as it belongs to the first Rentenmark series — the currency, backed by land and property, that made it possible to end the inflation: Germany - P# 168a - 1000 Rentenmark 1923 (PMG 25)

Very nice notes, walk2dwater! Quote: I have a feeling we'll be seeing more notes from Germany in the next couple of days. Yes, indeed! For 1922, two German hyperinflation notes. First is a 10000 mark note, P-72 (another pickup from walk2dwater...) and a well-worn 50000 mark note, P-79, that was given to me 25 or 30 years ago by a European business colleague.
